My film guide for women

When I began writing a book about women in media several years ago I had no idea it would lead me to write a second book: a film guide for women. Somewhere along the path I decided to turn the text analysis skills I acquired in university studying translation and literature to film. I had hundreds of files on movies (analyses) for my first book, which focuses on women in five media (film, television, music videos, magazines and pornography). I could not possibly keep all that information for my first book without ending up with several volumes but neither did I want to lose all that fascinating information. So now I have a 700-page film guide for women with reviews of nearly 500 feature films. It took me over two years to write and as of this weekend it is ready to publish. My hope is that women will find it very useful and informative. I have posted related videos on my YouTube channel (ACPicks).
