A book that is nearly ready to share with the world

The book I started writing in September 2015 is almost ready to share. It is nearly 400 pages long now, and I have started editing it. I am Canadian and the book does have a Canadian focus but because I am also a citizen of the world and media (particularly the cultural output of the United States) is far reaching and affects us all there is also a global focus. 

How are women and girls currently portrayed in the media? How has this portrayal evolved over the years? What  are the effects and consequences of these portrayals? How do women fare in today's society, and what part does the media play in women's life conditions? These are the main questions my book addresses.

Originally I had considered doing a Masters in Women's Studies but then I decided that what I really wanted was to share my findings with the widest audience possible and a dissertation just wouldn't have had the reach I was looking for.
